As part of their WORSHIP NORTH AMERICA 2024 Tour, four of the biggest names in the drum and bass genre are embarking on an eight-city trek, including Chicago, New York City, Washington DC, Toronto, and Los Angeles. The latter will be held in the iconic Hollywood Palladium, fitting for a rave party and pulsating beats of Culture Shock, Dimension, Sub Focus, and 1991. The lineup is indeed something to be excited about. After all, it's not every day that we see such incredible artists on one stage. Although these artists thrive in their solo careers, when they are all performing together, they are collectively known as Worship.
The group is bringing their tour to North America for the third time, and this forthcoming tour will be their most ambitious one yet. But based on the success of their previous tours, it is clear that this one is going to be a massive triumph. After all, they have established themselves as the authority in the drum and bass genre. Sub Focus's nearly two-decade career made him a global superstar. From building a reputation in the drum & bass genre, he now draws from every corner of the electronic world. By exemplifying the 'everything goes' motto of today's scene, Sub Focus's diverse music draws from house, dancehall, and rock.
Next to the lineup is Robert Etheridge, commonly known as Dimension. Known for hits like "Desire," "Love to Me," "Rush," "Whip Slap," and "Dark Lights," among many others, Dimension is one of the UK's most unique electronic music artists. Over the years, he has collaborated with several artists both in and outside the drum'n'bass genre, the most notable of which is his collaboration with the house producer Duke Dumont.
Culture Shock, the third in the lineup of Worship, is the stage name of James Pountney. He is deemed one of the most groundbreaking drum and bass producers in the UK. With hits like "City Lights," "Move Higher," and many others, he is undoubtedly emblematic of the genre's enduring spirit. Finally, 1991 completes the lineup of Worship. Like the other artists in the group, 1991 is a prolific DJ and producer. He may be young, but his accomplishments were enormous. "Full Send," his contribution to UKF10, has amassed over 20 million online streams thus far, with an extra 20 million from his six self-released singles in the past two years.
Indeed, worship artists are talented and successful in their respective fields. Thus, they are stronger as a group — and that will be evident in their upcoming tour.
The tour will kick off on March 15 at San Jose Civic in California, and they will stop at the Hollywood Palladium on March 30. Catch them on this incredible Saturday night with your friends. Release the party animal in you. Get your tickets before they run out.
