Hey hey, Los Angeles! A couple questions for you - one, do you need a new Doctor by chance? And two - have you ever been to Joyce Country? You haven’t?! Well maybe our friend Tommy K. can take you over the Atlantic to check it out….and we can check out Sun Street while we’re at it, too! We can have the time of our lives, frolicking Away With The Fairies and singing our favorite tunes with the Doctors along the way - The Saw Doctors, that is!
Maybe you’ve guessed it, but it’s true - The Saw Doctors are coming to town this summer on a mini tour - and yes, you’re invited too! On Tuesday, July 22nd, we will welcome The Saw Doctors to Los Angeles for their first show EVER here in L.A. County, as a part of a mini run of shows that will see the group hit select stages across America this July for a special showcase that’s sure to be rowdy and nothing but good vibes.
Tickets are on sale NOW and are starting at $70 for the night. And since it’s the Celtic crew’s first time in the city, you never know who they’ll bring out - so you won’t want to miss this one! Get ready to party, and we’ll see you soon!
Us here at The Hollywood Palladium are so excited to welcome The Saw Doctors as they take on Southern Cali for the first time this July on Tuesday the 22nd. Though it’s not officially deemed a tour yet, The Tuam Town Sextuple will rock out at shows all across America this summer - including kicking off the fun in Cleveland, a stop in Chicago, wrapping up in NYC’s Central Park, and of course - taking them right here to Hollywood for the first time ever. Trust us, you gotta get a ticket - and bring all of your friends, too!
The Saw Doctors began their band in Northern Ireland back in the late 80s and have dominated ever since. They’ve seen three number 1s in their career on the island’s charts, including their 1990 hit single I Useta Lover, which stayed at the top for nine weeks in a row at the time and holds a spot as one of the strongest lead singles ever in Ireland. From local pub gigs to packed out shows all across Europe (and now the entire globe), The Docs have always found a fluid way to update their sound over the years - consistently switching out band members, moving around the EU for better studios and inspiration, and bouncing between pop, rock and roll, and traditional folk sound - have proven amazing for the group’s longevity. They have seen countless chart toppers, thousands of screaming fans, and frankly just good luck all throughout their career - and now, it’s time to share it back with the world once again.
Speaking on their ethos and philosophy of their music, The Saw Doctors have said “Born into a repressed, catholic, conservative, small-town, agrarian, angst-ridden and showband infested society we're trying to preserve the positive elements of our background and marry them to the sounds which have culturally invaded our milieu through TV, radio, 45's, fast food restaurants, 24 hour petrol stations and electric blankets,”.
