Brooks Nielsen has broken silence on this year’s edition of Helloween!! He has recently announced that he’s returning to the legendary Hollywood Palladium for TWO NIGHTS of Beach Goth beats from the 30th until 31st October 2025! Partygoers can expect two different setlists and two completely unique performances full of Growlers hits, fan favorites, deep cuts, new tracks, and oddities, plus a few surprises!!
As lead vocalist and songwriter of Los Angeles surf-psychadelic heavyweights The Growlers, Brooks Nielsen helped cultivate a cult genre: Beach Goth. Both blood and sand, the Beach Goth movement continues to dance through Brooks Nielsen’s most recent drops. In true Growlers style, the sound continues with last year’s summer releases, A Ride I'm Waiting For, The Circle, Psycho & John Jones, and Chinese Fountain Live.
Helmed by legendary singer Brooks Nielsen and guitarist Matt Taylor, The Growlers have cultivated their own twisted path on the global music circuit. After hitting the scene running in 2006 in Dana Point, California, the group has evolved into a traveling circus. They’ve not only generated their own annual show (Beach Goth) and won over the hearts of an international fanbase, but issued six stunning studio records that bridge the gap between garage psychedelic ballads and edgy radio pop.
On The Growlers’ first three mixtapes – 2009’s Are You In Or Out?, 2010’s Hot Tropics, and 2013’s Hung at Heart – they “combined reverb-rich waves of vintage surf rock with the dark, slow-burn melancholy of outlaw country.” Chinese Fountain arrived in 2014 and welcomed a fresh, new, disco-tinged direction which was influenced by their move to the Entertainment Capital of the World. Between records, The Growlers have made a name for themselves as touring veterans, raising their status as key players in the Los Angeles music underground. This highly anticipated hometown event at the stunning Hollywood Palladium is gonna raise that status even more!
The Hollywood Palladium is an iconic theater situated at 6215 Sunset Boulevard in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The venue was constructed in a breathtaking Streamline Moderne, Art Deco style and boasts an 11,200-square-foot dance floor which features a stunning mezzanine, as well as a floor level with capacity for up to 4,000 people.
