Now, he’s hitching a ride to the US for a small selection of shows in 2025. Don’t miss him when he hits up the Hollywood Palladium this summer. Seriously, be there!
Buju Banton is a dancehall king. Not only has he been regularly recognized as a figurehead of the genre, but his music continues to impact generations of fans worldwide, evident by his Grammy nods and chart-topping singles. Now, he’ll be making an appearance at select venues across the United States in 2025, so if you care to see him, be sure to grab yourself some tickets while you can! Catch him at the Hollywood Palladium in LA on Thursday June 5th. Don’t miss it!
Ever since the release of his debut studio album, the world-famous record originally dubbed “Stamina Daddy,” Buju Banton has been fronting Jamaica’s music scene. With his blend of roots, dancehall and, of course, hints of reggae, he delivered signature Jamaican music to the rest of the world. His music is popular on a global scale, but his music is especially popular in the US, which is exactly why he’s decided to take to the skies to perform at select shows for his American fans this year. But if you want to go to his Los Angeles show, you better grab your tickets soon, cause there are only three shows available! So don’t be shy, get these tickets while you can!
Despite being one of the biggest names in the Jamaican music scene, Buju Banton has had his fair share of hurdles to jump over. His issues with law enforcement especially have set back his work as a musician at times. In 2009, he was arrested in the United States on drug charges, and eventually ended up being incarcerated there before being deported back home to Jamaica.
But he didn’t ever let that stop him; his career picked right back up where it left off when he was released in 2018. Since then, he’s released two studio albums in 2020 and 2023 respectively, and now, he’s hitting the stage once again for a select few shows in the United States. Coming all the way from Jamaica, Buju Banton will be stopping by the one and only California Roots Music & Arts Festival in Monterey, California on May 23rd as well as the Best of the Best Music Fest in Miami, Florida two days later to kick off his small leg of shows this year.
After his appearance at select fests, Banton will get the chance to take center stage for two headlining shows. The first is, of course, a stop at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California on the 5th of June, and then he’ll be setting out to the legendary Las Vegas to perform at Planet Hollywood shortly after. Okay but seriously, don’t miss out on his LA show! Grab your tickets now… you won’t regret it.
