With guest performances from Pig Destroyer and The Obsessed, this is absolutely the only place to get your dose of rock, rage, and metal in the late summer days of Los Angeles. We’ll bring the heat and the sludge, and you can bring your Guitar Hero controller that definitely needs some dusting off.
Like we said, this show is on August 28th and a week after their first sold out show - so you KNOW that this one is going to sell out, too - don’t wait! Tickets are starting at $65 - grab yours below!
Acid Bath will be headlining this show in L.A. at The Palladium on August 28th, along with help from supporting acts Pig Destroyer and The Obsessed. The group is a rock and sludge metal band from Louisina who was primarily active through the mid and late 90s - formally splitting apart in 1997. Their 2025 stretch of concert dates is everything short of an official reunion tour, as the band will be playing at eight different shows across America, and on stage playing with each other for the first time in almost thirty years when they reach The Palladium. They are credited as the most influential sludge band since the genre's inception, and their two studio albums, When The Kite String Pops and Paegan Terrorsm Tactics, were met with much praise and critical acclaim that bridged the old guard of sludge with the new. They are the most underrated legends in the metal scene, and seeing them at The Palladium is quite literally a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Pig Destroyer is also celebrating a special anniversary with their addition to this bill - the twenty year mark of their album Terrifyer, the third studio album from the band which is highly seen as the best in their career. The band, which formed in 1997 and picked their name because they wanted something insulting yet creative, is one of the best grindcore ensembles that came out of the 90s. The band doesn’t tour much, and their last album Head Cage came out in 2018 prior to the death of their beloved band mate, Blake Harrison. Their last show in November of 2024 was a rocking and emotional time, with fans cheering and blaring out their lyrics for the entire set. This band is locked in and ready, and a very special treat to add to the lineup with so many big names in the genre.
The Obsessed is the legendary four piece doom metal band that first got their start back in1979. After multiple albums, time apart, and switching in and out of members along the way, this band is still running on full cylinders almost fifty years after their inception. Lead singer and band mate Scott Weinrich has been a walking legend of the metal scene since he first formed the group, with albums like Lunar Womb being considered the quintessential release that explains the bands ethos, and their new 2024 album Gilded Sorrow being met with huge acclaims and respect from the doom music scene, with many praising Weinrich as the link between 70s legends and the modern sounds of stoner metal. We can never be too sure what The Obsessed will play during their live sets - which is why seeing them this August will be so special and utterly freaking cool.
Like we said - this line up is one for the ages. Generations and decades of heavy metal all coming together under one roof - for one night only on August 28th at The Palladium. Get your tickets now - they might even be sold out by the time you finish reading this! Get ready to rage, and we’ll see you there!
