The Pixies 2025 North American run will be a long set of double nights, hitting 14 cities across the country. Kicking off in Las Vegas, NV and wrapping up in St. Paul, MN, the tour includes two nights in Los Angeles, CA on June 20 and 21 at the Hollywood Palladium. In each city, Pixies will perform their classic 1990 album, Bossanova in its entirety, followed by the 1991 album, Trompe Le Monde, also in full. So if that's your thing, go back to the main page and select the Pixies concert here at Hollywood Paladium, but for June 20th instead! Otherwise, the second night, this one, will be a classic Pixies set of their greatest hits and brand-new songs from their new album, The Night The Zombies Came. Kurt Vile and The Violators join as opening act on both nights.

One of the world's most influential alt-rock, surf-rock, something-something-rock, Pixies are back, and they have confirmed that Emma Richardson, formerly of Band of Skulls has now come on as full-time band member, and yes, you can hear her sweet alt-rock vocals right now on the new album, The Night The Zombies Came. She joined up last year for the first part of the Bossanova and Trompe le Monde Tour and described the experience as "actually delightful," sounds kinda posh for an Alt-rocker! Listen out for the brand-new tracks with Emma, "You're So Impatient", "Chicken", and "Oyster Beds."

On the new album and its interesting name, lead singer Black Francis had this to say: "It's not like I wrote a bunch of songs about zombies or that we tried to make the album sound scary or anything like that. 'Zombie' is just an associative word. You can do with it what you like. And it's not a concept record, but that word kept popping up in the lyrics. When I combed through all the other lyrics for a title, they just sounded corny as shit. The only thing that made sense was The Night the Zombies Came. And I was like, 'You know what? That's a pretty good title. I'd go see that movie.'"

The opening band, Kurt Vile and The Violators, will be playing classic tracks, plus a few new-ish ones from their 2023 EP, Return to Moon Beach.

So, you're up for a night of "Where Is My Mind?" and more epic classic Pixies songs, then hit that 'Get Tickets' button, and grab your tickets from Ticket Squeeze and get to Hollywood Palladium at 6215 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 on Saturday 21st June 2025.
