Hollywood Palladium
Could you imagine being at the Hollywood Palladium with your date and then all of a sudden, a soft voice comes on to tell you, "Dale, abrázame otro rato, Apapáchame la vida entera." You can say and act like you're the "hardest" person in the world, but there's no escaping the romantic vibe that Latin Mafia bring to the stage in each of their shows. These relative newcomers have taken the Latin music world by storm with a few hit songs. They've been so popular that they're getting a show at the Hollywood Palladium in LA on Wednesday, January 22nd.
Milton, Emilio, and Mike de la Rosa will be playing at the Hollywood Palladium for the first time as part of their Te Odio y Te Extraño Mucho tour. Throughout this road trip, they'll be promoting their latest album, Todos Los Dias, Todo El Dia. This trio aims to open a new chapter in Latin dream pop. The rise of Latin Mafia is a clear case of what making a band looks like in the modern era! Their hit "Patadas de Ahogado" took on a life of its own when the chorus started getting used by content creators on TikTok and IG. To this day, there are probably more than a few people out there who have no clue who sings this track, but they've heard it hundreds of times just scrolling through social media. This "social media" fame allowed the trio to pretty much begin their careers playing in front of sold-out crowds in iconic venues all throughout Mexico. Are they a one-hit wonder, or are they going to be sticking around? At this point, only time will tell, but if you like the vibe that Latin Mafia brings to the stage, you better head to the Hollywood Palladium on Wednesday, January 22nd. You never know if they'll make it back around!
In a recent interview one of the De la Rosa brothers mentioned that the trio looks to explore all of the musical genres that they can. They don't want to be tagged as a pop band; certain outlets are even calling them an R&B group. You could also argue that the name Latin Mafia aims to capitalize on the popularity of the corridos tumbados movement, even though the trio doesn't sing those types of tracks. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter what you want to tag this band as. What you can be sure of is that if you're in the crowd at the Hollywood Palladium on Wednesday, January 22nd, you're going to go through some emotional moments. It would be nice to have someone holding your hand through all of this!
If you've been to the Hollywood Palladium, you know the drill! Most of the venue is accessible through a general admission ticket. In this case, both of the balconies on either side will be open as well. These spots give you an elevated view without having to deal with such a massive crowd. Regardless of where you want to be to see Latin Mafia live, the best thing you can do is arrive here early. That's going to give you the best chance to find a spot near the stage or at least toward the middle of the venue. Click the get tickets button now before they start running out!
