Pendulum have been making a noise in the drum & bass scene since the early 2000s and they're showing no signs of slowing down! North America is about to send off summer in style with a healthy dose of drum & bass directly from one of the scene’s biggest acts. Hot off the press, Pendulum have recently announced they are returning to the United States and Canada for a rare DJ tour, unleashing nine dates across the continent. Bursting onto the scene in the early 2000s, Pendulum formed in Perth in Western Australia by Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul "El Hornet" Harding. The group was later expanded to include members Peredur ap Gwynedd, KJ Sawka. Known in every corner of the globe for their distinctive sound, Pendulum have carved up a sound that mixes electronic music with hard rock and covers a wide range of genres.
Pendulum are without a doubt one of the most influential electronic bands around. With a whopping three platinum albums under their belt, including their celebrated debut ‘Hold Your Colour’ and a UK number one and number two for ‘Immersion’ and ‘In Silico’, the Aussie drum & bass group have sold more than a staggering million records in the UK alone. Constantly packing out worldwide arena tours and playing to thousands of fans across main stage shows from Glastonbury and Download to Reading and Leeds, as well as a headline slot at Ultra Miami, the D&B outfit returned with their EP ‘Elemental’ in 2021. And just last year, Pendulum joined forces with Matthew Tuck of Bullet for My Valentine for a heavy metal-tinged EP, Anima. Not long before that, they reworked the sounds of Taylor Swift with a unique cover of "Anti-Hero" for triple j's "Like A Version" program. And now, they’re back with their biggest U.S. trek to date!
