Luke Hemmings - aka the 5 Seconds of Summer frontman - will embark on his first solo headline tour in May and June! The Australian singer-songwriter revealed in early March that he will kick off a 21-show global tour and it's got fans reeling with excitement. This highly anticipated international trek will include 20 locations in North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Officially dubbed as the NOSTALGIA FOR A TIME THAT NEVER EXISTED, the tour will begin in Paris on May 4.
The tour will hit cities in Europe this spring before finally arriving in the US come summertime - just in time to turn the heat up! The US shows begin on May 21 in Chicago and will include gigs in Philadelphia, Washington, Brooklyn, Oakland, and other cities, as well as a performance at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on June 5 & 6.
Luke Hemmings is known as the lead vocalist and guitarist for the Aussie band 5 Seconds of Summer. It consists of members Calum Hood (bass guitar); Michael Clifford (guitar); and Ashton Irwin (drums). Fans of the band need not to worry though, as he is still busy with the group while he works on his solo music. Their last album, 5SOS, was released in 2022. They also recently went on “The 5 Second of Summer Show World Tour” in 2023. The trek took them to South America, North America, Europe, and the UK.
The announcement of Luke Hemmings' solo tour follows the news of his next EP, "Boy," which will be released on April 26 via Sony Australia. He shared on X that this project is very personal to him, saying “I wrote these songs in a moment in my life when I found myself questioning everything I thought I knew about the world & myself. All the emotions, fears and grief that came with it.”
