Foster the People just announced a long-awaited North American headline, the “Paradise State of Mind Tour.” The 23-city trek kicks off in early 2025 and it's taking the group across cities like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Atlanta, Brooklyn, and many more. Fans have been waiting eagerly for this trek to happen and now that it's finally here, you must not waste the opportunity.
The band will be joined by special guest Good Neighbours as the official opener for the tour. If you haven't had the chance to dive deep into their discography yet, you should start with “Keep It Up,” “Daisies” and “Bloom.”
The tour is in celebration of Foster the People's newly released album, 'Paradise State of Mind.' It made a top 10 debut on Billboard’s “Top Albums Sales” chart back when it was released in August and people haven't stopped listening to it. With incredible tracks such as “Chasing Low Vibrations,” “Take Me Back” and the catchy first single, “Lost In Space,” the album became a surefire success.
“I think the trickiest part about this record was trying to be authentic about what had been going on with me,” says Mark Foster, “without writing something super dark and without glossing over it, either. Because, to me, it was really important that hope remain at the core of this whole thing. People need hope. I need hope. And when I think about what hope is – it’s having the courage to walk towards something that you think can be better, while fully acknowledging the darkness and reality around you. That was the goal, walking into this album, which was actually really tricky – to make something that rang true to what was on my mind, but that had this much groove and that would be fun to dance to. You know, to me, they’re like Trojan Horses, the message is hiding in the melody.”
The album came seven years after their last release, so it's an understatement to say that fans have been waiting a long time for this.
