The life story of 03 Greedo is almost as improbable as his music career. In fact, one of the main reasons why he’s got so much material to draw from, even though he’s been part of mainstream hip-hop for a relatively short time, is his life story. A few years back, he got into some serious legal trouble in Texas. Those years in the South actually shaped him as an artist as well because he’s considered more of a South rapper even though he’s an LA area native! In any case, those legal troubles were going to lock him away for a very long time, and that’s when he got really busy doing music.
He worked with the likes of Travis Barker, Kenny Beats and Key Glock. By all accounts, the event at the Hollywood Palladium is a full-blown rap concert, but 03 Greedo takes influences from any genre he can get his hands on. All of this happened really quickly cause Greedo was looking at 20+ years behind bars. Ultimately, most of his tracks really took off when he was locked up!
